Q: Do I need to have a blocked account every year?

A:  The idea is that you need to show a financial source of your studies:. It can be a commitment declaration, a scholarship, or a work contract. As long as you show one of these you don't have to block the money again, but in case you don't, then you suppose to have at least the half of the money blocked again. Keeping in mind the rule can vary a bit in each city to another.

Q: As Azubi (Ausbildung), do I need a blocked bank account?

Q: When can I apply for the Winter Semester and for the Summer Semester?

A:   For Master,  it can vary, but in general these are the deadlines: 

• Winter semester: 15.04.-15.07.

• Summer semester: 15.10.-15.01.

Q: Which “egalisation” do I need to have? From the embassy or “Mo9ata3a”?

A:  The majority of universities accept the "general legalization",  only a few require the one from the embassy. 

Q: Can I work starting from the first year while I’m still doing DSH or STK?

A:  Yes, finally after years, now this is possible immediately from the first day you arrive to Germany.

Q: Which one is better? Goethe, Telc, or ÖSD?

A:  I personally prefer Goethe, and Telc over ÖSD. 

Q: Can I continue my studies instead of starting from the beginning?

A:  The German education system is different than France. For example, you can't do S1-S4 in Morocco and then come to Germany and do S5-S6, or in Master, if you passed S1 and S2, you can't proceed with S3 and S4 in Germany. But what you could do, is going to examination office, and this is where you can bring you Grade sheet, and you can do the equivalence of some subjects, therefore you don't need to re do them if they are similar to what you are supposed to study in Germany. Keep in mind, no one can know about this until you come to Germany and go to that office and discuss it with them. 

Q: Can I apply to study in Germany with a 10/20 in Baccalaureat?

A:  Yes, it is possible.

Q: Can I apply to study Master's in Germany with a 10/20 bachelor?

A:  Yes, it is possible. 

Q: How much time do I need to finish B1 level?

A: There is no right or wrong answer for this question. It is 100% related to you and how quick you are with learning and the effort you put into learning this language. But normally A1-B1 takes around 7 months with consistent effort and time investment.

Q: Can I pass the B1 exam directly without passing the first A1 and A2 levels?

A:  Yes, it is possible. Same for passing B2 directly without passing B1 first. 

Q: Can I learn German just at home?

A: Yes, it is possible.

Q: If I have a gap year, is that negative to get acceptance for the visa?

A:  No, there is no age limitation.
